'Sugar' is a song recorded by American pop act Maroon 5 for their fifth studio album V, which was released in 2014. The song's credits read as a who's who of commercial music, having been written by frontman Adam Levine alongside pop mogul Dr Luke, US hip-hop stars Jacob Kasher and Mike Posner, and produced by Ammo and Cirkut! With so much talent behind the scenes and the desk it was no surprise that 'Sugar' shot up the charts and became a daytime radio earworm that you can't have escaped! The song reached number two on the Billboard Top 100 and Adult Contemporary charts in the US and peaked at number seven in the UK singles charts.
