The second single from Almighty's upcoming 'We Love Euro' project, 'Self Control' is a song made famous by American singer Laura Branigan. It was released in 1984 as the lead single from her 1984 album of the same name and became a hit across Europe, topping the charts in Italy and Germany! It also reached number 4 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was the most successful single of the year in Switzerland! The song was written by Giancarlo Bigazzi, Steve Piccolo and Italian singer Raf, who recorded and released the original version prior to Branigan.

A timeless 80's anthem, the song has been covered numerous times by the likes of Ricky Martin, Infernal and Branigan herself, who released her own dance version in 2004 but this is the first time it has been given the Almighty treatment! Due to popular demand on our social media pages - this was one of the biggest requests of our 'We Love Euro' project - we've brought out the dance pop royalty with mixes from Almighty and Matt Pop! The Matt Pop Club mix is eight minutes of irresistible modern disco swagger, whilst the Almighty remix delivers a classic Hi-NRG sound! Of course an era-defining song like this needs a strong vocal and there was only one name on our wish list as Belle Lawrence returns for yet another powerhouse performance with breathtaking harmonies galore!
