The first release from our upcoming 'We Love Euro' project, 'Dolce Vita' is a euro pop song originally by Italian singer Ryan Paris! Released as a single in 1983 it achieved chart success in many European countries by reaching number one in Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain, and number five in the UK!
Inspired by the Italian film of the same name, 'Dolce Vita' was composed by keyboard player Pierluigi Giombini, who had previously scored hits with 'I Like Chopin' and 'Masterpiece'. Sung in English and with lyrics by Paul Mazzolini, the song tells of life and love in the trendy European cities... how very chic!
