'Make You Feel My Love' was a song penned by legendary American singer-songwriter Bob Dylanin 1997, which appeared on his 30th studio album, Time Out Of Mind, and has since cemented itself as a classic love ballad thanks to covers by the likes of Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson and most famously, Adele.

While Billy Joel's cover was the first to ever be released in 1997 - even before Dylan's original album version - the song didn't enjoy commercial success until it featured on the soundtrack for the 1998 hit film Hope Floats, which gained Brooks and Dylan Grammy nominations for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song respectively!

Ten years later, British singer-songwriter Adele recorded her own version of 'Make You Feel My Love' for her number 1 debut album 19, which peaked at number 26 in the UK charts. It then stormed back into the charts at number 4 in 2010 following two performances on The X Factor, before being used on the Comic Relief 2010 telethon and UK television show Strictly Come Dancing!

All in all, Adele's cover spent a total of 55 weeks in the official UK Top 75, making it the joint 16th longest runner of all time!
