'I Was Born to Love You' is a 1985 song by Freddie Mercury of influential UK rock band Queen. It was released as a single and also featured on his solo album 'Mr Bad Guy'. After Mercury's death, Queen remixed this song for their 1995 album 'Made In Heaven', with the other band members playing their own instrumental parts over the original recording. The song achieved reasonable success, reaching number 11 in the UK singles charts and also performed well in Germany (10), South Africa (4) and Switzerland (24).

Hannah Jones' dance cover first appeared on Almighty's 'Discovered 2' as Hannah & Her Sisters with subsequent releases on 'Absolute Almighty 9', 'Hannah Jones - The Remixes', and a digital single released in 2006.
