'Wonderful Life' is a song by the English singer Black from his 1986 album of the same name. Written by Black, the song was released twice as a single, mainly becoming successful the second time, when it landed as a top ten hit around the world! The song has been described as a "seductive, bittersweet ballad" and it has often been thought that Black sounds like a male version of the English singer Sade'.

First released in 1986 on Ugly Man Records, 'Wonderful Life' initially peaked at just No. 72 in the UK Singles Chart. It was then decided that they should re-release the song under a new record company, A&M Records after the success of Black's 1987 hit 'Sweetest Smile'.
'Wonderful Life', after its second release, then reached a higher peak position of No. 8 in the UK Singles Chart in August 1987.

So now, Almighty have taken inspiration from both the original and also the more recent Katie Melua cover from 2014. The pumping beats, compliment the deep and meaningful lyrics of the song, which Soheila's vocals portray brilliantly.

For those of you that don't know, the original artist Black passed away earlier this year. So this is Almighty's tribute to this incredibly talented songwriter, singer and musician.
