Tarzan Boy

'Tarzan Boy' was the 1985 single from Italian dance pop group Baltimora, often heralded as an Italo Disco crossover hit! The song reached number three in the UK singles charts and enjoyed top five success in numerous other European countries including France, Germany and Switzerland!

With its tales of jungle life and being free the song went onto worldwide appreciation, and even spent a whole six months in the US Billboard charts!

The track found a new lease of life in 1993 when it was re-released as a remix, soundtracking a Listerine advert and featuring in the films 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III' and 'Beverley Hills Ninja'. Notable covers include the Hans Zimmer produced version by Modern Romance, as well as versions by Bango and Bad Influence. The hook was also sampled by Destiny's Child for 'Nasty Girl' from their 2001 hit album Survivor!

This new version from Amazonia features a brand new vocalist and mixes from Almighty and the ever-popular Matt Pop! With its catchy 'whoah' refrain and upbeat dance-pop beats 'Tarzan Boy' is the perfect tonic for the colder nights!
