Maria Vidal is an American singer, who had her biggest hit with 'Body Rock' in 1984. The song reached number 8 on the US dance charts and number 11 in the UK. You may recognise this upbeat disco anthem from the film of the same name, directed by Marcelo Epstein about a young man from the streets with a talent for break-dancing! The film may not have dated so well (check out those leg warmers!) but it remains an enjoyable reminisce and a precusor of the post-noughties trend for dance movies such as 'Bring It On', 'Save The Last Dance', and the 'Step Up' series!

The Delicious version of 'Body Rock', originally released on CD and vinyl in 1997, was a sure-fire club hit and a best-seller for Almighty! A totally euphoric crowd pleaser, both the dubby Definitive Mix (with less vocal) and the more sing-a-long Millennium Classic Mix received the most fantastic reactions from the dance floor with brilliantly strong productions from the Almighty team.

Now back again for the turn of 2013/2014 comes this reload with brand new Essential Mixes that are sure to relive those halcyon days of the 1980's, as well as serving as a brilliant introduction to those who missed out the first time. Get body rockin'!

'Venus' is a synth-fulled dance-pop track released by racy pop star Lady Gaga. Initially due to be released as the second single, Venus is the first promotional single from the pop superstar's third and latest album, 'Artpop'. This song was suggested to Almighty by Jason from Euro Dance Hits, and we think it was an excellent choice

Critically renowned for her striking vocals alongside an undeniably catchy chorus, the song lyrically presents Gaga as the goddess of love, from Sandro Botticelli's painting The Birth of Venus which is also featured on the album cover of 'Artpop'. The song has a immediately familiar sound, sampling the French electronic duo Zombie Zombie's cover of cosmic disco pioneer Sun Ra's 'Rocket Number 9'!

Almighty's own divalicious songbird Eva Leone returns after her successful singles Somebody That I Used To Know and Only Girl In The World to take on one of the most striking songs of 2013. The only thing missing from this slice of pop perfection is a superb mix from Almighty that will sure to have you raising your hands, all the way to Venus!

'Skyscraper' is the intimate and inspirational song brought to the pop market by American recording artist and Disney star, Demi Lovato in her third studio album, 'Unbroken', featuring backing vocals by Jordin Sparks - winner of American Idol. Once you've heard the track, it'll be no surprise to hear this song debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With a top-notch, emotional delivery, this is a hugely uplifting song about staying strong and believing in yourself, and Almighty have made the track even more powerful with a pure pop mix featuring bang-on-trend beats and a vocal from Jamie Knight that is accurately close to Demi's original.

The track was brought back for another lease of life in 2013 after being covered by Sam Bailey, the winner of the 10th series of the X Factor! To commemorate the re-release of this stunning song Almighty have reloaded Jamie's single with brand new Almighty Pop Factor Mixes that up the emotion to striking new heights!

If you can't get enough of the X Factor then be sure to check out the Almighty Pop Factor albums, two special digital bundles that include Almighty takes on all the biggest hits of the iconic TV show.
