Paul Parker is a 80's vocalist, famous for working with legendary producer Patrick Cowley on club hits including 'Right On Target', 'Shot In The Night' and 'Tech-No-Logical World'. Releasing on legendary San Francisco based Hi-NRG label Megatone Records, Paul Parker continued to work with Cowley on his debut album 'Too Much To Dream'.

After Cowley's untimely death in 1982, Parker was touring in London and met up with songwriter/producer Ian Anthony Stephens, who just had a hit with his self-penned song 'Searchin' with 80's diva Hazell Dean. Ian and Paul's first project and biggest hit together was the stomping Stephens compostition 'Desire'! The pair continued to work together over a 15 year period, releasing material on Klone as well as Ian's own label Fantasia Records!

This single is the first in a brand new collaborative series from Almighty and Fantasia, releasing a number of tracks from the Fantasia catalogue, many of which are either previously unreleased or never available on CD! In addition to the original Fantasia versions there are new Almighty mixes updating the original recordings for 2013's audiences!

This first single is Paul Parker's cover of 'Shattered Dreams', a never-before-heard rendition of the Johnny Hates Jazz track! The song, which was the English pop band's major label debut, peaked at number 5 in the UK singles chart in 1987! We think that it really shows off Paul's stunning voice and is a slice of Hi-NRG heaven that can no longer go unheard!

Keep an eye on for more Almighty/Fantasia releases coming soon...
