'Fernando' was Swedish pop group ABBA's 1st non-album single, released in 1975.

This song was to become ABBA's biggest selling single of all time, selling 6,000,000 copies in 1976 alone. It is one of the fewer than thirty all-time singles to have sold an incredible 10 million (or more) copies worldwide!

'Fernando' was originally written for ABBA's Anni-Frid Lyngstad, who sang the lead vocals on this track. It appeared on her 1975 No. 1 Swedish solo album, 'Frida ensam'.

This track became the second of three consecutive UK No. 1 singles for ABBA, after 'Mamma Mia' and before 'Dancing Queen' and we hope you like the Abbacadabra and Almighty heart swelling anthem version just as much!
