New release... coming Spring 2010!
It seems only yesterday that we finished ‘Almighty Anthems: A Decade Of Dance’! That was at the end of 1999, when we were still making 12” vinyl and manufactured CD singles; now the 12” vinyl single and CD single are considered obsolete formats! We were still mailing out hard copies of our new product catalogues to mail order customers but now the Internet has replaced many of the things we took for granted as part of everyday life. Customers are purchasing less and less music in shops. In fact 90% of the music shops we dealt with all over the world have now closed! Customers now tend to choose to buy CDs on-line or as a digital download from an on-line store such as Almighty’s very own shop or from Amazon. Positively, physical products still count for two thirds of our business from our on-line store!
For our celebration album for 2010 (Almighty at 20!) we have consulted and are following a similar format to 'Almighty Anthems (A Decade Of Dance)'. What we considered timeless in 2000 has now radically changed; styles in the last decade have moved from trance and funky house and now we are back to more charged electro-house, all of which Almighty have adapted into their own style to suit the times.
This time, we are going for a double mixed manufactured album with 30 tracks on - 15 per disc...
Disc 1 (2000-2010) representing Almighty’s best selling from the past decade. Disc 2 represents our now adapted and continuing best sellers from the 90’s. Here we have the 30 very best selling Almighty Anthems of the past two decades over two continuously mixed CD’s. This is Almighty’s ultimate NRG compilation spanning the two-decades of Almighty magic - from the beginning to the present day. Who knows what the next year will bring... let alone the next decade!
Importantly we have enlisted the help of of Wayne G amongst our own very talented producers to provide this package with some spanking new updates, which will now include at least 10 new exclusive, remixes. To cater for everyone, the tracks will also be available on un-mixed CDR albums, which will include all the new remixes in full! We will also be re-loading some of Almighty’s most popular included singles that have been out of print for many years. These will also be made available as new download bundles and tracks from on-line digital stores and of course full CD quality from our own on-line store.
