Here's what's currently on my iPhone (which I connect directly to car stereo via USB)...

1) Hot Tracks 'The Edge'
This was a series dedicated to 80s stuff and put out by the DJ remix service Hot Tracks. I uploaded all four CDs (the first two were double sets). Mostly re-edits, some additional production. Some great listening here (with only a few dodgy versions), very enjoyable.

2)Soul Sisters
My own playlist compiled from the more uptempo soul/funk/disco songs of Patrice Rushen, Phyllis Hyman, Ashford & Simpson, Patti Labelle, Bonnie Pointer, with a majority being iTunes downloads. I can post details if anyone wants to know exactly which tracks...

3) Maximum Megatone
My own playlist from Hi-NRG label Megatone consisting of the tracks from a Megatone 12 x 12 CD plus the three collections available via iTunes. Sylvester, Patrick Cowley, Modern Rocketry, etc

4)DiscoTracks
My own playlist of the stuff I'm slowly restoring from ye olde Disconet and Hot Tracks vinyl. So far, all sounding fine!

I'm sure I will create a Donna Summer playlist at some point soon. Past playlists have included Almighty, Razormaid, Disco Discharge, PWL, freestyle, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Roxy Music...

I know dear. That size queen mentality can extend to everything, from plasma screens to car engines to computer gigabytes.

Ever noticed how ridiculous the clothes sizing is in gay stores? The tiniest garments are labelled 'large' etc - that's because no one wants to buy anything labelled 'small'

well I have 2 iPod classics. One I have devoted to singles, country and soundtrack & cast albums, the other I call "The Etc." (named after a local coffeehouse here in Urbana) which has everything else.
