What are PA mixes? Do they differ in any way?

Perhaps an Evelyn Thomas/Almighty album in the offering? That would be really, really cool. It'd be nice for her to have a really good greatest hits album.

Great! Yeah, any Almighty collaboration with Ms Thomas would be fabulous. I was listening to her newest release, Infidelity, last night & thinking that the mixes were pretty good (esp. Laurent Schark & Spineo mixes). The song has a flavor reminiscent of Ian Levine, & I was thinking that an Almighty mix would have really nailed this song in a way the existing mixes don't quite. Jason -- "Madness" & "Masquerade" were always two of my favorite Evelyn Thomases, btw. And, Susie, until I read your post I never knew E.T. was an American; always assumed she was British.

There are so many Evelyn Thomas 'greatest hits' compilations on the market - nearly all of them called 'High Energy' ! (Her first album for record shack was also called 'High Energy !)

One of the High Energy greatest hits cds i have has 7" versions from her first record shack album, and 12" mixes from her second (Standing at the crossroads)........while another has 12" or full length versions from her first record shack album and 7" versions from her second !!

Plus I hadn't realised how many different 'versions' there were of the tracks she recorded for Record Shack with Ian Levine until I started to build my libarary of every Record Shack release.

Gotta mention Weak Spot and Doomsday.

Plus the album "I Wanna Make It On My Own", which along with 7th Avenues Midnight In Manhatten album ranks amongst the best work Ian Levine's ever done.

I would love to hear some of her other tracks redone, but I've never been a fan of most High Energy covers, Almighty included (sorry guys). This one ruined it for me:

Most of the others I've heard make the singer sound angry or upset. High Energy could do for an Anthem treatment by Almighty and I think it would sound much better.
